Cookie Policy

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a text string that the visited site sends to the user (usually the browser) for various purposes.

According to the directives of the privacy authority, cookies can be divided into technical and profiling cookies.

The first category includes cookies that are sent by the site for purposes strictly connected to navigation.

These may be navigation or session cookies, which guarantee the normal navigation and use of the site, or analytics cookies, which are used to collect aggregate information on the number of users or how they visit the website, or functionality cookies, used to improve the browsing of the site according to certain criteria (for example the language).

This type of cookie does not require the prior consent of the user to its installation nor is its communication required according to the privacy authority, but it is necessary to mention it in this information.

The second category includes cookies used for the purpose of profiling the user in order to provide targeted advertising based on his or her browsing habits.

Who sends cookies

Cookies can be sent from the site itself or from third-party services on which the site relies. The site manager is responsible for cookies that are sent directly, while for those sent by third parties the origin and reference link must be indicated in the policy.

The third-party websites also include Google Analytics cookies, which are used to collect non-personalised data on site navigation and are included among technical cookies.

Which cookies is this site using?

This site uses technical cookies, session cookies and third-party cookies from Google Analytics.

Session cookies are used to keep track of the choices made by the user during the visit.

Analytics cookies are sent by Google Analytics. They are used to obtain numerical statistics on the pages visited, on the number of total visitors, on the network from which the users come, etc. No personal data is transmitted through these cookies.

No cookie used in this site sends any personal data to the site operator.

Can I disable cookies?

By default, cookies are enabled in every browser.

This is because not using them limits the user experience and sometimes prevents access to some sites.

It is however possible to disable the use of cookies through the advanced settings of the browser.
